The Ressence Type 3 is the first ever oil-filled mechanical watch, pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The Type 3 BBB features a black dial with Ressence’s unmistakable ever changing and orbiting discs displaying hours, minutes, runner (180 seconds), day, date, and oil temperature. The Type 3 BBB comes in a Black dlc coated Grade 5 Titanium polished case, paired with an Anthracite Honeycomb strap with polished Black dlc-coated ardillon buckle.
The upper half of the watch is filled with 3.75ml of oil conferring it a digital-looking clarity and contrast. The dial side is connected to the air-filled lower half through a magnetic transmission, which contains a specially customized ETA 2824/2 base caliber. Seven micro-bellows compensates the changes in oil-volume due to temperature variations.
The Ressence Type 3 BBB is a 2022 limited production.
