The Ressence Type 5 is the first ever oil-filled mechanical diver watch, making it the only perfectly readable watch under water canceling the mirror effect. The Ressence Type 5 N features a Night Blue convex Grade 5 Titanium dial (minutes) with three eccentric biaxial satellites inclined at 3° (hours) and 4.75° (thermal gauge and runner). Its Grey & polished Grade 5 Titanium case is paired with a Blue saffiano leather strap with polished ardillon buckle.
Ideal for outdoor activity, the Type 5 has an upper half filled with 3.57ml of oil ensuring a frictionless revolution of the discs and a perfect legibility under every angle, especially under water. The air-filled lower half which contains the movement – a specially customized ETA 2824/2 – is connected to the upper half through Ressence’s patented magnetic transmission. The Type 5’s graduated, unidirectional rotatable bezel enables divers to safely monitor their dive and decompression times. An ingenuous bellow system compensates the changes in oil-volume due to temperature variations.
