Following the success of the Darkmoon watch, characterized by the innovative "Oil Immersion" concept, U-BOAT presents a new range of watches in two sizes, 44 and 40mm, with new camouflage and vintage cases, new dial colors, and much more.
On the occasion of Watches and Wonders, U-BOAT presents ten new 44mm and five 40mm watches, which join the Darkmoon family, exploring and playing with new colors and patterns for both dials and cases.
The watches feature an electromechanical movement completely immersed in an oil bath, with a compensating bubble, which provides an amplified view of the dial for the wearer as if there were no glass. U-BOAT launches this new range of watches with a new curved dial, under the domed sapphire glass, further emphasizing the 3D effect.
On the one hand, there is a sub-collection of watches with a "vintage look" achieved with IP bronze-treated steel cases, paired with black numerals and indices on brown dials and vice versa, in both sizes. A special case treatment with overlapping layers of different paints creates an oxidized and aged effect.
On the other, a different treatment, with another special paint, provides another range of watches with a camouflage pattern on the case, in both sizes, in harmony with indices, numerals, and hands in grey luminova with black dial and also in the opposite version.
Completing the range of Darkmoon models in 44mm, a series of watches with black PVD- treated steel cases, black dial, and numerals, indices, and hands treated in different colors of luminova: aquamarine, orange, yellow, green and gray; with the latter also in 40mm.
Together with these Darkmoon watches, another watch, also in 44mm, with a PVD-treated steel case but with a white dial and contrasting black numerals, indices, and hands.
