A ROCKET ON THE WRIST
This creation, combining all the superlatives, came into being in 2022 thanks to the expertise of our integrated Manufacture. While the Freak has always been as intellectually stimulating as it is visually captivating, the Freak S pushed the envelope even further by including a dual oscillator. It is the brand’s first double oscillator with a differential and automatic winding made possible by the Grinder system. The silicon components of the escapement have been coated with a layer of artificial diamond which optimizes its performance and its resistance to abrasion (DIAMonSIL). The case is inspired by the first Freak of 2001, with a construction enabling a combination of different materials such as ceramic, titanium and gold. The UN-251 caliber features a flying carrousel and a baguette movement whose fundamental architecture is like that of the original. By reconfiguring the movement to tell time, the Freak S is another act of horological purity and authenticity.
