    On the occasion of Watches & Wonders Geneva, Parmigiani Fleurier invites the public to a rare encounter exploring the process of invention in haute horlogerie. On Sunday, April 19, Guido Terreni, CEO of the Maison, will share the thinking and principles that guide the creation of a watchmaking World Premiere. Behind every new complication lies a long exploration: understanding historical watchmaking architectures, questioning their limits, and imagining solutions capable of opening new paths. At the heart of this conference lies an idea that has shaped Parmigiani Fleurier’s watchmaking for several years; functions that appear only when called upon, and then withdraw to restore the essential. This approach raises fascinating questions for watchmakers: how can the logic of a historic complication be reimagined? How can the purity of the dial be preserved while integrating a highly complex mechanism? And how does an intuition evolve into a truly new mechanical architecture? The audience will discover the principles, choices and challenges that accompany the birth of a contemporary watchmaking innovation. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session with the audience.
