Terms and Conditions of Participation
LAB at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) define the rules and requirements for submitting an application to participate in the LAB at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 (hereinafter referred to as “the LAB”), organized by Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation “(WWGF) (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).
2. Eligibility
Applications are open to any legal entity or individual of legal age, representing a company, start-up, research lab, academic institution, or independent project, presenting an innovation or initiative related to watchmaking, sustainability, materials, technology, immersive experiences, or any field aligned with the scope of the LAB.
3. Application Submission
Applicants must complete the official application form provided by the Organizer and supply all required information fully, truthfully, and accurately. Incomplete applications or those not meeting the stated criteria may be rejected without prior notice.
4. Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the Organizer. The committee’s decisions are final, confidential, and not subject to appeal. Only selected candidates will be contacted directly, according to the timeline provided. Submission of an application does not guarantee participation in the LAB.
5. Applicants’ Commitments
By submitting an application:
- Applicants certify that they are the rightful owners of all intellectual property rights related to the content, concepts, products, or prototypes submitted, or that they have obtained the necessary authorizations.
- Applicants authorize the Organizer to use visual, descriptive, or technical elements submitted for selection, communication, or promotional purposes related to the LAB, in accordance with copyright and confidentiality principles.
- Selected applicants commit to actively participating in the LAB during the scheduled event and to cooperating with the Organizer in preparing their presence.
6. Intellectual Property
Each applicant retains full ownership of their project. However, by submitting their application, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use submitted materials for the promotion of the LAB and Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, including but not limited to print, digital, and audiovisual media.
7. Confidentiality
The Organizer commits to treating all sensitive information provided in the application with appropriate confidentiality. Any non-public information will not be shared or used for purposes other than the evaluation of the application.
8. Personal Data
Personal data collected via the application form is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR and/or local laws). Applicants have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data by contacting the Organizer.
9. Modification or Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, or to postpone, cancel, or adapt the LAB’s format, without liability. In the event of major changes, applicants will be informed as early as possible.
10. Acceptance
By submitting the application form, the applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms.
